Academy Award Winning Films Project

You will have the entire year to complete this project. You will be doing a study of award winning films in the movie industry. You must create a portfolio for this project and complete the assignments by the due date to receive credit. No late submissions will be accepted.

Option 1: Set up Digital Portfolio using Weebly
1. Go HERE to set up your digital portfolio.  This is where you will post all of your work for your Anchor Project.  If you do not       post your work to your portfolio it will NOT be graded.  
    2. Click on SIGN UP
    3. Enter your Full Name, Email Address, and your Preferred Password.  Click SIGN UP
    4. Pick any THEME that appeals to you.  Then click CHOOSE.  
    5. Then choose "USE A SUBDOMAIN OF WEEBLY.COM".  Type in your page name which should be "FIRSTNAMELASTNAME2016".             (EX: HalFunderburk2016)  .  Click CONTINUE.  You have now created your portfolio, now we will start to build it.  
    6. Click on PAGES at the top of the screen.  You will click on the + sign to add the pages below:  
  • Introduction
  • Steven Spielberg
  • Tim Burton
  • Alfred Hitchcock
  • Christopher Nolan 
   
    7.  Now you will complete your Introduction Page.  Click on your INTRODUCTION page.  
    8.  Click on BUILD at the top of the screen.  
    9.  Drag the TITLE Element onto your page.  Type "About Me".  
   10. Drag the TEXT Element onto your page below the Title.  
   11. Click and type in information about yourself (interests, hobbies, activities, academic likes/dislikes, future plans, and your experience with video production.)  
   12.  Drag the IMAGE element onto your page.  Click and upload a picture of yourself.  (You may email this to yourself from your phone or pull it from a social media account.  )  
   13.  In order to save all of your work you must click the orange PUBLISH button at the top right of the screen.  If you do not do this your work will not be saved and I will not be able to view/grade your work.  
   14.  Click HERE to send me the link to your portfolio (this can be found by clicking publish and copying and pasting the address that appears on the screen once it saves.) your username, and password.  I will only store the username and password for safe keeping in case you lose it during the semester.
